Welcome to the Ithaca Gun Company web site.
We were delighted to show our products and to meet so many Ithaca Gun enthusiasts at the Ohio Deer and Turkey Expo in Columbus Ohio on March 14, 15, and 16 and the Wisconsin Deer and Turkey Expo in Madison Wisconsin on April 4, 5, and 6. The level of interest we saw for the 12 and 20 gauge guns we are now producing was infectious, and we were pleased to be able to illustrate the high quality and craftsmanship of our all new manufacturing processes. If you were unable to attend either of those shows, we will also be attending the 2008 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits Show in Louisville, Kentucky on May 16th through the 20th, 2008 and the World Deer and Turkey Expo in Birmingham, Alabama on July 18th through the 20th, 2008.
From a manufacturing standpoint, we are producing 12 gauge guns on a daily basis and are ramping up production on the 20 gauge Model 37’s. The 20 gauge product will be available for delivery in just a few weeks. Our future product line plans include a 28 gauge gun to be built on its own scaled platform, with a 16 gauge gun to follow later in the year. We have a team of engineers that are working on a side-by-side gun and an over-under gun for the trap shooter and sporting clays enthusiast. Our doubles, both O/U and SXS receivers will be built from a solid piece of steel and to unprecedented manufacturing tolerances. As we design and develop the new O/U and SXS we will periodically post pictures of the progress we are making with these exciting new products.
I would also like to talk to you about the quality of our workforce. The people that are part of the Ithaca Gun family are dedicated tool-and-die machinists who for many decades have worked with tolerances of +/-.0002". The products they had made in the past were precision molds used in various product forming processes, and accuracy and precision of workmanship was key. Capitalizing on these individuals understanding of metallurgy and their ability to machine to close tolerances enables us to manufacture a gun better than it has ever been built before. When we re-developed and manufactured the Model 37 we tightened up tolerances from what was commonly known as a "hand fit" part to a "machine fit" part. The tolerances that we achieve today make it possible that all parts fit in all guns that are assembled, and that those parts are all universally interchangeable.
"Doing it right the first time" ensures that the new gun you purchase from Ithaca Gun will give you decades of reliable and enjoyable service. All of our parts are manufactured and our guns assembled by Americans in the United States of America and we are very proud of that fact. We could have brought you a lower quality gun using imported stamped parts at a lower price, but the product would not have had the quality we demand and believe that you expect from the Ithaca name. Ithaca Gun is dedicated to building the finest shotguns available at any price and we hope to be able to include you as a member of our proud heritage soon .
With Kind Regards and Safe Shooting,

The Model 37 began winning over shooters seventy years ago with its reliability, easy handling, and simple good looks. Our M37 retains everything that shooters love about this classic gun and adds the new Solderless Barrel System (patent pending). Visit our Featherlight and Ultralight page for details.
For those hunters who spend cold autumn mornings at the edge of a wide field scanning for bucks on the horizon, we offer the Deerslayer III. With its heavy-walled fluted barrel, this fine weapon sets a new standard for the long-range accuracy of slug guns. Visit our Deerslayer III page for details.
The main venue for many deer hunters is the woods, high up in a tree stand or pushing their game through the brush. The Deerslayer II is produced with this kind of sportsman in mind. Deadly accurate like its big brother the DSIII, the DSII is lighter, has a shorter barrel, and is equipped with open rifle sights. Visit the Deerslayer II page for details.
